Why do people invest in Dubai real estate?

Over the years, being a luxury real estate boutique, we have overseen Dubai’s development. Friends who went there for a holiday all came back full of enthusiasm. It is beautiful (if you like skyscrapers), it’s safe for women to walk on the streets at night, it’s not expensive, it’s fun, and people are amicable. It is good to look closer at this paradise by the sea if it interesting for your real estate investment.

How did Dubai become so famous?

Dubai used to be a fishing village with no more than 800 residents. Located off the Persian Gulf’s southeast coast, it is now the largest city in the United Arab Emirates. Over time, the small village has evolved into a major business centre and international metropolitan area.

The city’s history dates back to 1833, when members of the Bani Yas tribe settled there. They were drawn to the area’s natural harbour, created by the creek that flows through it. The people who lived in the area transformed it into a fishing village. They were eventually joined by other nomadic groups from the Middle East, such as the Bedouins.

During the 1960s, the local economy mainly depended on the granted oil and trade concessions. The city’s development timeline shows how, in 1969, oil revenues began to flow into Dubai. This resulted in rapidly establishing various infrastructures, such as hospitals and schools. Over time, the wealth from the oil revenues boosted Dubai’s growth and transformed it into a fashionable and modern city, with the Burj Khalifa tower as the cherry on the cake.

Excellent infrastructure

Dubai’s infrastructure is regarded as some of the best in the world. This includes modern transport networks, world-class facilities, and iconic landmarks. The continuous development process further enhances real estate investments in Dubai.

Full real ownership

In Dubai, foreign investors can enjoy the full ownership rights of their properties through freehold ownership. This allows them to sell, rent, or lease their properties without restrictions.
