The Oceanographic Museum in Monaco is offering an extensive array of activities throughout the school Christmas holiday period. The museum’s latest exhibition, Polar Quest, invites attendees on an Arctic and Antarctic journey, providing an opportunity to step into the shoes of an adventurer exploring the North and South Poles. The exhibition includes a unique immersive encounter and a showcase of polar exploration through a photography exhibition. Also, don’t miss the unveiling of a novel permanent display, The Sovereign and the Mediterranean, as part of the year-long festivities commemorating the centenary of Prince Rainier III.

The Atelier Franck Michel contemporary art center in Nice is showcasing an exhibition of works by the local performer, visual, and digital artist Patrick Moya titled “The Cabinet of Wonders.” Moya skillfully blends and reinterprets his visual creations akin to a DJ, continually revisiting his earlier works and showcasing live painting in front of a live audience. This latest exhibition runs until the 23rd of December.

Several Christmas services will be held at English-language churches along the Riviera. Holy Trinity Cannes is hosting a brief half-hour Children’s Carol service at 4 pm on Christmas Eve, followed by Holy Communion at 9:00 am and a Family Communion Service with carols at 10:30 am on Christmas Day. At Holy Trinity Nice on Christmas Eve, there will be a Sung Eucharist at 11 am, a Crib Service at 5 pm, and Midnight Mass at 10:30 pm. On Christmas Day, they will conduct a Sung Eucharist at 11 am. St. John’s Church in Saint Raphael will also hold a service on Christmas Day at 10:30 am.
