LOCKDOWN PHOTOS EXHIBITION

There’s an exhibition of photographs taken in Nice during the first lockdown of the pandemic in March 2020. They provide an insight into a unique period in the city’s history. It’s taking place at the Galerie Lou Babazouk 2 in Rue Benoit Bunico in Nice Old Town from 30 January until 18 February.

PINK RIBBON MONACO GALA & RUN
02 February to 11 February 2024
There are two upcoming events supporting breast cancer research and the Princesse Grace hospital, for the association Pink Ribbon Monaco, now under the Honorary Presidency of HSH Princesse Charlene. The Pink Ribbon Monaco Gala is taking place on February 2nd at the Monte Carlo Casino, Salle Medecin, and includes a 3-course gourmet meal. Special musical guest is Award-winning Monte Carlo Philharmonic lead violin Zhang Zhang and her band. All funds go to finance very promising breast cancer screening research led locally at the Princesse Grace Hospital. And then on Sunday 11 February, it’s the Pink Ribbon Monaco walk, which is a 5 km easy walk through the Principality. A CHARITY SHOW

A charity show in support of the “20,000 Lives” association, aimed at collecting funds to finance the purchase of defibrillators.
“The Low Budget Men,” a band from the Azure Coast led by cardiologist Claude Mariottini from Saint Laurent, performs their own music from their two albums. They have been featured on various TV shows and newspapers, from the famous red sofa of Michel Drucker to album reviews in Rock & Folk magazine. The group was awarded the title of the best independent band of 2012 on the renowned English radio station “Radio England.” A favorite of British Airways and Air France, the group has performed in numerous cities across France, as well as at the famous “100 Club” in London.

ST JOHN’S JAZZ CONCERT

This coming Friday evening it’s the second session of the St John’s Jazz season 2024 at Saint John’s Anglican Church, 31 avenue Carnot in Menton. They’re looking forward to seeing you on 2 February at 6.30pm. For this edition Manu Carré invites Seb Machado, a pianist and singer inspired by soul music. Tickets are 15 euros for adults, 10 euros for children and students
