To coincide with the Nice carnival, the West End hotel on the Promenade des Anglais presents the exhibition “Imaginaires carnavalesques”. Le Quai exhibition space on the port in Monaco is hosting a new group exhibition, Looking for Free Knots, curated by Maria Katia Tufano, from a selection of artworks from the collection of Silvia Fiorucci. The exhibition explores concepts around memory and identity and features works from more than a dozen artists. VALENTINES TEA DANCE

The Rotary La Motte International in collaboration with the Mairie in La Motte will be holding a Valentines Tea Dance on Wednesday 14th February from 2:30pm to 5:30pm in the Salle Louis Fournaire. There will be live music by the Riviera Shakers and a traditional English afternoon tea – with sandwiches, cakes and tea – will be served. Tickets have gone on sale for one of the best know events on the Riviera. The Nice Carnaval is happening from 17 Febuary to 3 March and this year’s theme is “King of Pop Culture”. Two weeks of festivities bring the city of Nice to life with the “Corsi” Carnival Parades day and night, and the elegant “Flower Parades”.
